My name is Kathleen, but I go by Katy. I drove to trinity this year from my home in LA, California. I bought an old 91 volvo over the summer and decided to drive it to school. The interstate 10 is a direct shot which made the road trip easy. my interests usually revolve around art and music. I am an art major, and I am still deciding between a cognitive science or psychology minor. I collect jazz vinyls, and I play the jazz guitar at Trinity. I am not very computer savvy so I am looking forward to taking this class and learning necessary computer skills. I would also like to become more computer literate for my job. I work at a local art gallery in san antonio and part of my work includes using spreadsheets and inventory work.

I really like old Volvos, but man that's a long drive!
ReplyDeleteJazz guitar, eh? The jazz band is amazing from what I've seen. I've thought about trying out for it myself on alto saxophone, but I'm not sure I'd have the time.
ReplyDeleteThats awesome that you drove all the way from LA, i as well own an old volvo, but I am not sure mine could make it all the way to LA..
ReplyDeleteI'm from California too!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's such a long drive! I drove to college too with a car my family gave this summer, but my home is in Austin, so it was only an hour and a half. I commend you
ReplyDeleteWhat gallery to you work for, Katy?
ReplyDeleteYour fingers must have mad skills to be able to play guitar. I tried to learn once and failed miserably.
